About the Board of Trustees
Village government is headed by the Mayor and four (4) Trustees. Together they form our legislative body, the Board of Trustees. The Mayor, the Chief Executive Officer of the Village, and the Trustees are elected in March for four (4) year terms.
Village Board meetings are open to the public. Regular meetings of the Board of Trustees are held on the third (3rd) Wednesday of each month at 4:00 PM, at the Municipal Building (5535 Bostwick Street, Lowville, NY 13367).
