MUNICIPAL BOARD

April 13, 2021

A regular meeting of the Municipal Water and Sewer Board of the Village of Lowville was held on April 13, 2021. The meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM by Mr. Joseph Zehr.

Municipal Board Members: Joseph Zehr Donald Kraeger Mike Comet Dorothy Duflo Thomas Widrick Alternate: Michael Brotherton

Others Present: Paul Denise Charles Terrillion Pamela Roes

Approval of Minutes:

Motion by Mrs. Duflo, seconded by Mr. Comet to approve the minutes of the March 9th, 2021 regular meeting. All in favor.

Public Comment:

§ None.

§ None.

Old Business:

§ Phase II WWTP Upgrade:

§ No update.

§ Groundwater Well Development Project:

§ Town of Watson Planning Board did not act on the groundwater site plan at their last meeting. They are concerned that the Village’s project could have a negative effect on their proposed groundwater project in that area. There is expected to be some discussion with Watson, Jay Billings and GYMO prior to the Planning Board meeting in May.

§ There is a meeting scheduled with GYMO and NYSDOH representatives on Thursday to discuss the well project.

§ There has been no update from Jay Billings on an increase in permitted water withdrawal allocation. NYSDOH was very positive concerning Jay Billings report.

New Business:

§ Kraft Surcharges:

§ February 2021 – $2,750

§ March 2021 – $9,250

Motion by Mr. Widrick, seconded by Mrs. Duflo to approve Kraft surcharges as listed above for the months of February and March. All in favor.
