VILLAGE OF LOWVILLE

MUNICIPAL BOARD

November 9, 2021

A regular meeting of the Municipal Water and Sewer Board of the Village of Lowville was held on November 9, 2021. The meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM by Mr. Joseph Zehr.

Municipal Board Members: Joseph Zehr Donald Kraeger Dorothy Duflo Tom Widrick Michael Brotherton(alt.)

Others Present: Paul Denise Joseph Beagle Wendy Snowden Charles Terrillion

Approval of Minutes:

Motion by Mr. Widrick, seconded by Mr. Brotherton to approve the minutes of the October 19, 2021, regular meeting. All in favor.

Public Comment:

§ None.

Correspondence:

§ 7490 Campbell St.

Motion by Mr. Kraeger, seconded by Mr. Widrick not to give a reduction for the water/sewer bill as requested as there was not a leak that contributed to the bill being higher than normal. All in favor.

Old Business:

Phase II WWTP Upgrade:

§ Spencer Electric has been on site at the plant. All work is going as planned.

DEC Application:

§ No current updates.

7610 Number Four Rd.:

§ Mr. Zehr to follow up with the resident and neighbor for a resolution.

Kraft Meeting:

§ The County would like to be involved in future meetings between Kraft and the Village to assist Kraft in any way needed.

New Business:

§ Martinsburg Master Meter:

§ The master meter was higher than the individual meter readings.

§ 7585 Church St.

§ Supt. Denise advised the sewer issue has been resolved.

Follow-ups:

§ DEC application.

§ 7610 Number Four Rd.

§ WWTP Upgrage

§ Next Meeting – December 14th.
