MUNICIPAL BOARD

September 13, 2022

A regular meeting of the Municipal Water and Sewer Board of the Village of Lowville was held on September 13, 2022. The meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM by Mr. Joseph Zehr.

Approval of Minutes:

Motion by Mrs. Duflo, seconded by Mr. Comet to approve the minutes of the August 9, 2022 regular meeting. All in favor.

Public Comment:

§ New water service: 6115 Foxpath, Lowville

§ New water service: 7131 Rice Rd., Lowville

Motion by Mr. Kraeger, seconded by Mr. Comet to accept the new water services as listed. All in favor.

Correspondence:

§ None.

Old Business:

GYMO, PC UPGRADES:

· Progress is being made on the desludging of the lagoons. The project is moving slow due to the amount of sludge being greater than estimated.

· The ground water project is going well. Manfred Construction is making great progress on the installation of the piping.

Town of New Bremen:

· Supt. Denise reported the Village of Lowville tapped the transmission line. Supt. Denise received a letter that the Town of New Bremen will not be doing any more for this issue. The Village has done everything they can and will be done with this as well.

New Business:

§ Kraft Sewer Charges:

§ June – None.

§ Kraft Water Charges:

§ August $15,000

Motion by Mr. Widrick, seconded by Mrs. Duflo to accept the August 2022 water surcharges. All in favor.
