VILLAGE OF LOWVILLE

MUNICIPAL BOARD

November 8, 2022

A regular meeting of the Municipal Water and Sewer Board of the Village of Lowville was held on November 8, 2022. The meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM by Mr. Joseph Zehr.

Others Present: Paul Denise Wendy Snowden Chuck Terrillion Calvin Farney

Approval of Minutes:

Motion by Mr. Comet, seconded by Mrs. Duflo to approve the minutes of the October 11, 2022 regular meeting. All in favor.

Public Comment:

§ Mr. Farney – 5609 Shady Ave. stated that the PRV broke therefore the water did not go down the sewer.

Motion by Mrs. Duflo, seconded by Mr. Comet to take an average of the past 4 sewer charges and reduce the sewer portion of the bill by that amount. All in favor.

Old Business:

GYMO, PC UPGRADES:

· Lagoon one is in the process of getting the bottom and sides smoothed out and get the liner installed.

· The ground water project is going well. Manfred Construction came in under budget by $65,000. The additional funds went to purchase crusher run for the road to the wells. The water line is complete.

· S.C. Spencer is waiting on materials to finish the water plant project. It is expected the work will begin in the spring. At this time, S.C. Spencer will be working at the sewer plant.
