MUNICIPAL BOARD

September 12, 2023

A regular meeting of the Municipal Water and Sewer Board of the Village of Lowville was held on September 12, 2023. The meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM by Mr. Joseph Zehr.

Approval of Minutes:

Motion by Mrs. Duflo, seconded by Mr. Kraeger to approve the minutes of the August 8, 2023, regular meeting. All in favor.

Public Comment:

Old Business:

GYMO, PC UPGRADES:

· WWTP Phase II – Mr. Denise reported aeration is being installed in the first lagoon. There has been no update on the Phase 3 grant applications.

· WTP – Mr. Denise stated that S.C Spencer is still anticipating a mid -September start up.

New Business:

§ Towns of Lowville, Watson, Martinsburg & New Bremen Water Contracts: the Board reviewed the water contracts for each town.

Motion by Mr. Kraeger, seconded by Mrs, Duflo to recommend to the Board of Trustees that no changes are needed and the contracts are to be renewed as is. All in favor.

§ Kraft Sewer Surcharges:

§ July 2023 – $500

§ August 2023 – $0

Motion by Mrs, Duflo, seconded by Mr. Widrick to approve the sewer surcharges as listed. All in favor.

§ Kraft Water Charges:

§ Aug $0
