VILLAGE OF LOWVILLE

MUNICIPAL BOARD

December 12, 2023

A regular meeting of the Municipal Water and Sewer Board of the Village of Lowville was held on December 12, 2023. The meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM by Mr. Don Kraeger.

Municipal Board Members: Don Kraeger Tom Widrick Dorothy Duflo

Others Present: Wendy Snowden Chuck Terrillion Paul Denise Matt O’Brien

Approval of Minutes:

Motion by Mr. Widrick, seconded by Mr. Comet to approve the minutes of the November 14, 2023, regular meeting. All in favor.

Public Comment:

§ Mr. O’Brien from 5352 Dayan St. address the Board for a reduction on his water/sewer bill.

Motion by Mr. Widrick, seconded by Mr. Tabolt not to issue a credit to the water/sewer bill. All in favor.

Old Business:

GYMO, PC UPGRADES:

· WWTP Phase II – Mr. Denise stated there are punch list items still being worked on.

· WTP – Mr. Denise reported that wells are online at this time and working well. There are punch list items being completed at this time.

Kraft meter:

· Mr. Denise reported the meter has been installed however not connected. Mr. Denise has contacted the representative from RAFA to connect the meter so the data can be accessed.

New Business:

§ The Board had discussion regarding Kraft installing a water tank. It is being recommended that Kraft have a tank installed to prevent them from being without water if a break occurs. Mr. Denise will contact Kraft.

The Board thanked Mrs. Duflo for her years of service on the Municipal Board and presented her with a plaque.
