MUNICIPAL BOARD
January 9, 2024

A regular meeting of the Municipal Water and Sewer Board of the Village of Lowville was held on January 9, 2024. The meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM by Mr. Joe Zehr.

Approval of Minutes:

Motion by Mr. Kraeger, seconded by Mr. Comet to approve the minutes of the December 12, 2023, regular meeting. All in favor.

None.

Correspondence:

Letter regarding water/sewer bill charge from 5352 Dayan St.

Environmental Facilities Corporation – WIIA Grant

Old Business:

GYMO, PC UPGRADES:
WTP – Mr. Denise reported that wells are online at this time and working well.  There are punch list items being completed at this time.

Kraft meter:
Mr. Denise reported the meter has been installed however not online at this time, but the meter information can be accessed manually at the meter. Mr. Denise has contacted the representative from RAFA who will assist him remotely to get the meter online.

Mr. Denise spoke to Eric Lee at Kraft regarding installing a water tower at Kraft. Mr. Lee will talk to management and get back to him.
