Approval of Minutes:
Motion by Mr. Kraeger, seconded by Mr. Widrick to approve the minutes of the April 9, 2024, regular meeting. All in favor.
Public Comment:
Tyler Jones – Town of Martinsburg – a meter was not working properly in the Town. As per policy, the master meter was billed as it had higher usage than the individual meters. Due to the difference in size of the meter, there is a higher charge by billing the master meter. Mr. Jones is requesting the Town be charged as individual meters.
Motion by Mr. Tabolt, seconded by Mr. Bishop to rebill the Town of Martinsburg for individual meters and bill the additional usage to the meter that was not working. All in favor.
Richard Chartrand – 7566 Cedar St. had a large water bill. Upon investigation it was shown to be an outdoor spicket that was leaking. Mr. Chartrand is requesting a reduction on his bill due to the water not going through the sewer.
Motion by Mr. Zehr, seconded by Mr. Tabolt to reduce the sewer portion of the bill by the usage from the last sewer bill which was 12,900 cf. All in favor.
Robert Walseman – 7609 Easton St. had a stopped meter. Mr. Walseman is requesting a portion of his bill be waived as it was an estimated reading.
Motion by Mr. Widrick, seconded by Mr. Kraeger, that based on the information provided the estimate used was appropriate. All in favor.
