MUNICIPAL BOARD
June 11, 2024

A regular meeting of the Municipal Water and Sewer Board of the Village of Lowville was held on June 11, 2024. The meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM by Mr. Joe Zehr.

Municipal Board Members:    Joe Zehr    Don Kraeger    Tom Widrick    Mark Tabolt    Dennis Bishop    Peter Cecconi (alt.)

Approval of Minutes:

Motion by Mr. Kraeger, seconded by Mr. Tabolt to approve the minutes of the May 21, 2024, regular meeting. All in favor.

Public Comment:
None

Correspondence:

Prentiss & Carlisle- timber evaluation

Water Service Application – 6129 Fox Path, Lowville

Motion by Mr. Tabolt, seconded by Mr. Bishop to approve the water connection pending approval for the main to be extended.  All in favor.

Old Business:

GYMO, PC UPGRADES:
Mr. Denise will be coordinating with GYMO on the new wells development and funding.

Kraft meter:
Mr. Denise reported the meter is working, but still unable to monitor from the computer.  RAFA is at the site attempting to fix the connection.

Mr. Denise reported on a meeting with Kraft regarding several areas they are trying to improve on that should benefit them as far as water usage and main breaks.

Kraft Sewer Surcharges:   May 2024     $0

Master Meter Rates:

Mr. Zehr advised the Town of Martinsburg to do to the Village Board to discuss changing the rate structure for master meter billing.
