VILLAGE OF LOWVILLE
MUNICIPAL BOARD
July 9, 2024

A regular meeting of the Municipal Water and Sewer Board of the Village of Lowville was held on July 9, 2024. The meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM by Mr. Joe Zehr.

Municipal Board Members:    Joe Zehr    Don Kraeger    Tom Widrick    Dennis Bishop    Peter Cecconi (alt.)

Approval of Minutes:

Motion by Mr. Widrick, seconded by Mr. Kraeger to approve the minutes of the June 11, 2024, regular meeting. All in favor.

Old Business:

GYMO, PC UPGRADES:
Mr. Denise reported GYMO is in the process of seeking grant funding for 2 new wells.

Kraft meter:
Mr. Denise reported the per RAFA Systems the meter installed at Kraft will not communicate so it is unable to be used.  A new meter needs to be installed to work with the RAFA computer.  Mr. Denise will coordinate with Kraft for this process.

New Business:

Kraft Surcharges:

Kraft Water Surcharges:  Jun 2024  $13,000

Kraft Sewer Surcharges:   Jun 2024  $15,250

Motion by Mr. Kraeger, seconded by Mr. Bishop to accept the surcharges as listed.  All in favor.
