VILLAGE OF LOWVILLE
MUNICIPAL BOARD
September 10, 2024

A regular meeting of the Municipal Water and Sewer Board of the Village of Lowville was held on September 10, 2024. The meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM by Mr. Zehr.

Municipal Board Members:    Joe Zehr    Don Kraeger    Tom Widrick    Mark Tabolt    Peter Cecconi (alt.)

Approval of Minutes:

Motion by Mr. Tabolt, seconded by Mr. Kraeger to approve the minutes of the August 13, 2024 regular meeting. All in favor.

Old Business:

GYMO, PC UPGRADES:
Mr. Denise reported Claude Cormier with Hydrosource has been to the well site and will submit a proposal to develop additional wells.
NYS DOH SERVICE LINE CONNECTIONS:
Mr. Zehr reported the service line inventory report for Department of Health is due October 16, 2024.
WATER MAIN EXTENSION:
The Town of Lowville submitted a request for a 6” water main extension on Fox Path in Lowville.  The Municipal Board had previously approved this connection.

New Business:

Kraft Surcharges:

Kraft Water Surcharges:  August 2024  $23,500

Kraft Sewer Surcharges:   August 2024  $24,000

Motion by Mr. Widrick, seconded by Mr. Tabolt to accept the surcharges as listed.  All in favor.

Water Connection:
A new water service application was received from 7320 Ossont Rd. in Watson.

Motion by Mr. Widrick, seconded by Mr. Tabolt to approve the request as submitted.  All in favor.
